Nuragus di Cagliari is a long-standing Sardinian DOC that highlights the Nuragus grape, a variety with deep historical roots in the island's viticulture. The wines, available in both still and frizzante styles, are characterized by their pale straw color, often featuring subtle greenish reflections. On the palate, they range from dry to off-dry (amabile), offering a delicate, characteristic bouquet and a refreshing, sapid profile influenced by the Mediterranean climate and the diverse geological substrates of southern Sardinia. The production zone spans a vast area across the provinces of Cagliari, Carbonia-Iglesias, Medio Campidano, and Oristano.
